School bus mechanics and drivers are the first and last persons representing our school system that interact with students every school day. Driving a school bus is not as hard as you might think. It does require a commercial driver’s license and approximately 25-30 hours of paid training on average, but the CCPS Transportation Services Department driver instructors will help you acquire the necessary skills and knowledge needed to be a successful school bus driver.
